HandshakeAs a lawyer, clients often meet with me about their real estate, business or construction related disputes with individuals and businesses. Some clients are adamant that they want to file a lawsuit. Others are not quite sure what to do to resolve the disagreement.

If a client is unable to informally resolve the dispute with the other party without a formal process, I often suggest the parties consider mediation. “Mediation” is where a neutral third party is selected to be the mediator. The mediator’s job is to help the parties try to solve their differences and come to a written agreement to settle the dispute.

Make your Mediation Successful with Attorney Representation

An attorney understands the connection between the facts and the law, is familiar with the mediation process and can advise you on how to effectively present your position and work towards resolving the disagreement. Contact us to help settle disputes at (925) 463-9000 or send an email.
